Meet Dr. Nicholas Russell, DC MS
Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Russell attended UBC earning his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy while a member of the Thunderbird Golf team and Track and Field team where he achieved Academic All-Canadian status. During this time, Dr. Russell was introduced to the life-changing impact that chiropractic and sports medicine can provide, which inspired him to transition his academic focus to physical medicine. Dr. Russell then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy, Master’s of Science in Sports Medicine, and Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Russell takes an evidence-based approach, employing a combination of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques, and therapeutic exercises to help his patients achieve their goals. He has pursued continued education in Active Release, Special Functional Movement Assessment, and the McKenzie Method. Dr. Russell’s motivation is to get his patients out of pain and back to doing whatever they enjoy, whether it be picking up one’s grandchildren, yoga classes, work, or sport.
In his free time, Dr. Russell can be found golfing, hiking, or participating in various strength sports.
